RICH ROBINSON

Rich Robinson is CEO of Robinson Communications, Inc., a political consulting firm in California.

As a political consultant, Rich has worked and advised on numerous national campaigns including Bill Clinton for President, Gary Hart for President, Alan Cranston for President, John Kerry for President and Joe Biden for President. Rich was privileged to advance Senator Ted Kennedy for the Democratic National Committee in 1986 and the visit of Michelle Obama in San Jose in February 2008. He was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1984 and 2004.

Rich has served in all levels of government, including as aide to former U.S. Senator Alan Cranston, Deputy Insurance Commissioner for the State of California and Senior Consultant in the California State Assembly. Rich long worked with former State Senator John Vasconcellos who represented the Silicon Valley for 38 years.  He is an advocate of The Politics of Trust which was founded by Vasconcellos (http://www.politicsoftrust.net/).

Rich is an attorney and a partner at the Alexander Hawes law firm. He founded Robinson Communications in 1989.

NEBI ALEMU

Nebi Alemu’s activist foundation began in fighting the Marxist regime in his native country of Ethiopia. After coming to the United States, Nebi became a political grassroots organizer in the Silicon Valley and Washington DC specializing in helping underserved populations.

Nebi has an over 20 year history of professional management experience with media, technology and transportation companies.

Nebi also regularly consults Silicon Valley start-ups and small businesses. He is very active in the Jewish Community Center and the Coptic Christian Ethiopian Community.

 

REGINALD V. SWILLEY

Reginald Swilley is an award winning graphic designer with more than 25
years of experience creating online and published campaigns for a variety
of business and political clients in various mediums.

After spending time and conversing with the architects of the national civil rights movement, he helped present their message visually and coherently to the outside world. Swilley's messaging talent makes him a unique ally in attacking the nonsensical arguments of the Republican party.

Reginald is a strong advocate for civil rights. As a board member of the NAACP San Jose Chapter, he worked on the national campaign to end the ethnic discrimination of customers at Denny’s Restaurant and the campaign against the ethnic profiling of minority drivers known as Driving While Black or Brown which resulted in the City of San Jose becoming the first police department in a major city to monitor police contact in communities of color.

Reginald is also a former board member and Political Policy Chair of the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce and has served as a political and community advisor in many civic organizations. He was one of five national spokespersons for the launch of the New Sanctuary Movement, a national organization that advocates for immigration reform as a coherent path to citizenship.

 

TONY SETON

Tony Seton is a veteran broadcast journalist. Tony covered Watergate, produced Barbara Walters’ news interviews, and earned a handful of national awards for his business/economics coverage for ABC Network Television News. In addition he won national recognition for two public television documentaries.

Tony has covered ten elections as a journalist and participated in many campaigns in various professional capacities. His clients have included Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, State Senator John Vasconcellos, Assemblyman Bill Monning, and the American Nurses Association.

Tony’s experience includes mapping, door-to-door, polling, media training, websites, design of printed pieces, speechwriting, press relations, and public speaking. He has also conducted more than 400 political interviews, written 300 political commercials, and produced more than 100 radio and television spots.

VICTORIA RAMIREZ

Victoria Ramirez is Director of Operations at Robinson Communications, Inc. She graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Public Relations, and an academic focus in Mexican American Studies. Prior to joining our team, Victoria served the MESA Schools Program at San Jose State University as the Public Relations and Special Events Coordinator.

ANTHONY T. TURLEY

Anthony is an Internet marketing expert who began his career in affiliate marketing. He has helped many Bay Area local businesses with his Internet marketing solutions and graphic design skills. Turley studied animation and media arts at the Art Institute of California in San Francisco as well as entrepreneurship at Ashford University.
